1) Before the dedicated server is released to you, a full image is made of the server and stored in a separate worldcloud.com cluster, always available in “near-line” mode for instant restore of server to “default”.
2) live snapshot and full backup of the server image is performed regularly while the server is running - this means an absolute 100% all-file image of the server is made without disrupting your running system - the snapshot is taken and that image is moved into our enterprise vault for rotation. Restores from these images result in a 100% restore of the server from an exact point in time.
3) the live FileMaker data folder, including live databases and backup files is incrementally backed up using tape to disk with open-file capability Daily.
4) An ftp synchronization of your Hourly, Daily and Weekly FileMaker backup directory is made to an offsite ftp server in a different geographic location 4 times daily. You can access this backup location at anytime and it is separate and independent of your worldcloud.com dedicated server.
